1916 was the perfect storm of celebrations in Cambridge:
- The 100th anniversary of the splitting of the Cambridge District into the current Towns of Cambridge, White Creek, and Jackson
- The 50th anniversary of the incorporation of the Village of Cambridge
- The 25th anniversary of the building of the Cambridge Union School
We celebrated with a week-long celebration. It started on Sunday with the sermon in each church covering the history of the church and the people from past congregations. The sermons were assembled into a book that is a treasure trove of local history.
